Rachael Meek

Rachael started her love of yoga in high school practicing to her mom’s workout videos. In 2005 she took her first studio class and was instantly addicted to the energy of the practice and the grounding effect it had over her on and off the mat. In 2009 she finally found the time and courage to start a teacher training program. Rachael has been teaching at studios in the Philadelphia area since and completed her 200 RYT certification in 2011. She loves the strong community yoga provides and can be found practicing and attending workshops with other great teachers all over the region . Be ready to sweat and smile in Rachael’s classes! She loves the heat and flow of the vinyasa style and likes to incorporate strengthening and balancing asana. Her classes are physically challenging but also integrate the mind, and spirit. While she expects her students to show up and work hard Rachael likes to keep her classes light and fun. She believes that every time you come to your mat you should leave it feeling focused, lighter, and at peace. In addition to teaching yoga, Rachael is also a holistic health coach supporting people to incorporate healthy habits into their daily lives. Rachael also enjoys running, cooking healthy meals and traveling as much as possible!
