Jessica has been passionately breathing and moving throughout life; she relishes the opportunity to explore the infinite number of ways that we can learn to breathe and move our bodies while practicing together at Stillpoint. She found yoga in 2004, and has been investigating the human body, delving into pranayama, and opening up in spirit ever since. She began teaching in 2006 as a way to reinvigorate the yoga club at her university. She has been teaching yoga since 2010, and is certified in a type of vinyasa (flowing yoga) called Lîla Yoga™ (Lîla means ‘Cosmic Play’). She teaches a fun and creative class and uses music to inspire students’ strength and curiosity while surveying his or her internal energy pathways. Come to any of her classes and you will be sure find that tapping into your energy will help you meditate through movement, find your breath, and leave smiling and ready to face the challenges life offers, on and off the yoga mat.
