Bridget is a graduate of the Pranakriya School of Yoga (200hr) where she studied under master yogi, Yoganand Michael Carroll. Bridget first fell in love with yoga in the early 2000’s at the original Stillpoint Studio where she was deeply inspired by the energy of Stillpoints own Jack Forgosh and Debra Bosna. Their methodology of teaching yoga resonated with Bridget both on and off the mat.
After several years of love, patience and sweat on the mat, Bridget found that by weaving together body and breath it led to a much deeper interconnection between mind and soul. At first, yoga was a way to unwind and decompress after working the graveyard shift as an emergency veterinary technician. It eventually evolved and became an outlet for emotional release while her young niece was undergoing cancer treatment. Digging deeper and wanting more, she became a practitioner of Vipassana meditation in search of her own truth and enlightenment.
Bridget’s style of teaching gently encourages the yogi to look within and to witness the inner-self. Her classes will leave you with the lingering feeling of being closer to your truth taught through nurturing, peaceful vinyasa’s that stay true to Pranakriya. She is honored to be part of the Stillpoint family and community.
When Bridget is off the mat she continues to work as an emergency critical care veterinary technician. She lives with her husband Ewen, three children, Emerson 9 and the newest additions, TWINS… little girl Billie and little boy Miller, just born in January of 2014. And last but not least, her 3 cats!
