Alison was initially drawn to yoga as fitness for her mind. The more she practiced, the more she realized the meditative power of action and breath in harmony… and she loved it. Yoga also appealed to Alison’s nature-loving side as it awakened in her a sense of intentional living and a greater connection. She has always been energized by people and personalities and is honored to share in the practice of others. As with most teachers, she learns much from her students is an eternal student herself. Love, energy, optimism and awareness make her approach to teaching inspiring and lighthearted. Inspired by many types of yoga, Alison’s classes are adventurous, mindful and FUN! She seeks to provide a dynamic yoga experience to her students through integration of yogic philosophy and smart sequencing. She also loves music so count on an energizing playlist. Alison received her 200-Hour Yoga Teaching Certification at Dhyana Yoga in Philadelphia.
