“Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty-four brand new hours are before me. I vow to live fully in each moment and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion.” –Thich Nhat Hanh
From the time Alexis was born she knew she wanted to teach. While she wasn’t sure when it would happen, deep in her soul she knew where ever she ended up in life teaching would be part of it.
Being active has always been part of Alexis’ life. Through her 20’s and into her 30’s she ran many half-marathons all over the country. A nagging hamstring injury in January of 2012 is exactly what landed her in her first yoga class at Sol Yoga Studio under the guidance of owner, Angela Travaglini.
Though they had been friends for years, it took Angela just as long to convince Alexis to try yoga; something she can never thank her enough for now! It was from that moment she knew yoga was going to be something very special in her life. Every time she stepped on her mat she felt more alive than she ever had!
In the year and a half that followed that first yoga class Alexis learned about life, love and most importantly herself; this was the calling she was waiting for. In June of 2013 she began her journey deep into the heart of power yoga studying under Bill Raup at Power Yoga Works in Malvern.
When not on the mat Alexis love to travel, spend time with family and friends and catch some sun on her face! She currently resides in Bridgeport, PA with her husband and their small farm of rescue pets.
