It is Natalie writing to let you know that I'll be teaching a workshop on Saturday, October 11th from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm at Stillpoint Yoga Studios.
This workshop will focus on the basics and FUNdamentals of poses that we do all the time. Here is the description:
Would you like to learn how to safely and healthfully move through the most frequently practiced standing poses? Would you like to deepen your understanding of Warriors I, II and III, Triangle, Revolved Triangle, Half Moon, and revolved extended side angle pose, to name a few? We will work on and refine these and other poses that we do so many times in every single class.
If you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, it can be helpful and interesting to explore the principals of alignment in a workshop setting. There will be time to ask questions and to really explore the poses we do in almost every yoga class. We will focus on working mindfully and safely. We will work hard for two hours and then have an hour of blissful rest in restorative poses that are designed to gently allow the body to relax. |
