Hello!
It is Natalie writing to let you know that I'll be teaching a workshop on Saturday, November 8th from 1:30 pm until 4:30 pm at Stillpoint Yoga Studios.
This workshop will focus on the basics and FUNdamentals of poses that we do all the time. Here is the description:
Would you like to learn how to safely and healthfully move through the most frequently practiced basic vinyasa? Chaturanga, Upward Dog, Downward Dog? Would you like to review and give precise and thoughtful attention to the standing poses we do in every class? Warriors I,II and III as well as Triangle, Extended Side Angle pose, and others? We will review and refine these and other poses that we do so many times in every single class. If you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, it is always helpful and interesting to explore the principals of alignment in a workshop setting. There will be time to ask questions and to thoughtfully explore the poses we do in almost every single yoga class. We will focus on working mindfully and safely. We will work hard for two hours and then have an hour of blissful rest in restorative poses that are designed to gently allow the body to relax. This workshop will appeal to you whether you have taken the previous two sessions or not. |
